"Does AI do everything?" Ultimately, a person stamps the contract.

๐Ÿซ‘ 3-Line Summary

โ€ข
Although the speed of technology diffusion is fast enough for ChatGPT to gather 1 million users in just 5 days, current AI is strong only at simple repetitive patterns and has limitations in complex communication and context understanding.
โ€ข
In order for knowledge workers to survive, they must develop planning capabilities to design a 'workflow,' which is the connected flow of work, and redefine problems, rather than performing individual tasks.
โ€ข
Since the power to overcome business challenges that cannot be solved by APIs or data ultimately stems from human trust and 'charm,' we must strengthen communication skills based on 'human touch' as โ€‹โ€‹technology advances.

๐Ÿฅฆ Insight

โ€ข
Don't stay up all night researching "how to make AI work well (prompt engineering)." AI will soon be much better at handling simple tasks than we are anyway.
โ€ข
The core message of this article is simple: "People open their wallets to charming people." Even if our product is slightly lacking in features compared to competitors, there are far more cases where contracts are signed because of the sincerity and charm you demonstrate. AI can never share a drink of soju with a client and call them "brother" on your behalf, can it?
โ€ข
Do you think, "If we're talking about efficiency, wouldn't sending an email be better?" No, the 'inefficiency' of making a phone call right now or visiting to share a meal is our most powerful trade secret. That 'human charm' is the only weapon we will have to survive in the age of AI.

๐Ÿ“ GenAI, the most destructive change in human history, but accompanied by insane speed

It has become almost clichรฉ that the generative AI revolution, sparked by ChatGPT, is creating change very quickly and universally . (It took ChatGPT just 5 days to reach 1 million users and only 2 months to reach 100 million.) Looking at technology diffusion graphs, humanity has never encountered such a change. Considering that it typically takes at least a few years for a new technology to be created and spread, no technology in human history has spread universally across the globe more disruptively, at a faster pace, or more rapidly than generative AI.
So clichรฉ, right? The colleague next to me is still working, the owner of the cafe where I am writing this is doing well, and even the Kkanbu Chicken I ate earlier is still being fried by a person. Most importantly, since I have to go to work tomorrow after today's holiday, my desk is still in the same spot. That is a real relief. I have so much work to do. Surely, it doesn't look like a machine will ever replace me. 'Not yet,' that is.
