"Did you waste 6 months looking for a developer?" The secret to generating 5 billion won in annual revenue without coding

🫑 3-Line Summary

•
With forecasts that 65% of new apps will be developed using No-Code by the end of 2024, check out 6 Micro SaaS case studies that generated billions in revenue by bringing ideas to life without developers.
•
Figures demonstrating the scalability of no-code have been presented, such as 'TaskMagic,' which achieved $4 million in annual revenue by improving upon the limitations of existing automation tools, and 'Better Legal,' which reduced costs and increased revenue by 56% by converting code-based services to no-code.
•
However, taking the case of 'Qoins'—which went out of business due to partner risks despite receiving a $2 million investment—as a lesson, you must maintain a balance between rapid MVP development (Speed) and solid risk management (Sustainability).

🥦 Insight

•
'Quick solutions' are the essence of business, rather than 'perfect code'.
•
Do you still think, "Our item is technically too complex, so no-code is out of the question"? From legal services (Better Legal) to fintech (Qoins), the territory of no-code has already expanded beyond complex domains. Customers have absolutely no interest in whether your service is written in Python or built with Bubble. They are interested only in whether it solves their problem.
•
For early-stage entrepreneurs, the most expensive resource is not money, but 'time.' Instead of wasting months hiring developers, build an MVP using no-code tools today and launch it into the market. Just like the case of Fernanda, which built a service in 60 hours and sold it within two weeks, the speed at which you gauge market reaction is the lifeblood of a startup.
•
However, keep this in mind. No-code is merely a tool that makes getting started easier; it does not guarantee business success. As seen in the failure of Qoins, if the exterior (Product) is flashy but the interior (Operation/Finance) is weak, it will eventually collapse. Use the tool lightly, but manage it heavily.

The term "No-Code tool" has become quite familiar to us now. Many people are simplifying or automating their work using no-code tools. There is also a growing number of cases where companies are generating stable monthly revenue by creating SaaS solutions using no-code.
No-code tools are presenting a significant opportunity, particularly for individual entrepreneurs. According to a Gartner survey, it is expected that 65% of applications developed by enterprises will be built using no-code or low-code platforms by 2024. This means that individual entrepreneurs can also create sufficiently competitive products.
I recently listened to a podcast that featured these kinds of successful no-code SaaS cases. From AI systems for job negotiations to automated debt repayment services, it was truly fascinating. Through these examples, I was able to see the advantages of no-code businesses. I learned a lot myself while listening to and summarizing the podcast, and I wanted to share this story with you in the hopes that it will be helpful to you as well.

I will introduce 6 cases of Micro SaaS built with No-Code.

Case 1. Coverdoc.ai - AI-based negotiation tool for job seekers

Coverdoc.ai is an AI service that helps job seekers. It originated from a problem experienced firsthand by its founder, Ambar. Ambar said that writing similar cover letters repeatedly while searching for a new job after losing his career was too difficult. So, while contemplating how to solve this problem, he created Coverdoc.ai.
